About Me

I'm A 34 year old single mom from New Market, Alabama. I have always loved polish and to paint my nails, but it was something I could go long periods without doing. I've had health issues most of my life and became permanently disabled several years ago. One day while having a bad day I happened upon a nail blog and that was all it took. From that point on I searched for as many as I could find. I began looking at them any chance I had. I couldn't believe all the happiness that something as simple as nail polish could bring me. That's when I realized that for me it was more than just love of polish or nail art, but that it became a kind of therapy. I began experimenting with as many different techniques as I could, with nail stamping becoming an instant love. It's amazing that you can be having the worst day and look down and see something beautiful on your nails and it just makes you feel better. I wanted to start this blog to have a place to share my love of nail art in the hopes that maybe someone else will be inspired the way that I was.
